Improved GPA on Campus

The chapter of Delta Chi here at Cortland is proud to be recognized for having the most improved GPA of all the Greek fraternities here on campus. Striving for the best is a tough road that includes a lot of hard work. Delta Chi encourages its members to do the best that they can in all aspects of their life. Being in college is a privilege that not all have the opportunity to embrace. From the previous semester Delta Chi Cortland decided it was time for a change for the better. By cracking down on course work the overall GPA of the chapter improved from 2.61 to 2.81, which is a very impressive jump for one semester. All brothers should be proud of this improvement as it is a grand example of what hard work can bring to an individual and a group. Todd Malone was the brother with the highest GPA of a 3.88. Everyone should strive to have a GPA of similar proportions to Todd. Recent graduate from SUNY Cortland and Delta Chi Alumni, Matt Meade, found that such hard work should be rewarded. Due to the academic excellence that Todd had showed this past semester, Matt donated a $200 bonus to help Todd financially with Delta Chi. The Cortland chapter of Delta Chi is proud to have such hard working individuals dedicated to school and the brotherhood, and we thank Matt Meade for his generous donation, this is a great example of how hard work pays off and we hope that all of our active brothers and alumni continue to work hard and never forget what you are a part of. Born Proud, Raised Proud!
