Congrats to the Lambda Class! ΔΧ

“Brotherhood is a two way street, to accept its advantages, you must meet its obligations.” -Anonymous
Delta Chi Cortland chapter would like to congratulate the Lambda class on their initiation into the Delta Chi Brotherhood. It has been a long road but all the hard work will soon pay off. However, your journey in the brotherhood of Delta Chi has just begun. Being a part of the Delta Chi brotherhood is not just about being part of an organization throughout college. Being part of the Delta Chi brotherhood is a life long commitment that can provide you with many benefits. However, what you get out of Delta Chi is determined by what you put into it. Please take this time to really think about why you wanted to join Delta Chi and what it is you want Delta Chi to provide to you. As a newly initiated brother, everything in the greek system is quite new to you, but soon you will realize that joining Delta Chi was one of the best decisions you ever made. Every member of the Delta Chi Cortland chapter helps to better improve the chapter as a whole. Please take advantage of the opportunities the chapter provides you and become involved. You can get involved many ways whether its with the fraternity and becoming a committee head and working your way up to E-board, involved with the community by participating in the many community service events we host, or being involved on campus with other organizations such as the inter-greek council.

Biggest Little Game In The Nation

Cortaca, also known as "Biggest Little Game In The Nation," is approaching fast. For those who don't know the Cortaca Jug is the trophy given to the winner of the annual football game between the Red Dragons of SUNY Cortland and the Bombers of Ithaca college. The match-up is one of the most prominent in Division III football. Ithaca has won the game the last three years but in 2006 Cortland had won the game in OT. But every year is a new year and its all about pride.

For Delta Chi Cortland it is one of the biggest events of the year. It is a huge social gathering that unites alumni, brothers, and associate members. It gives new members a chance to better know the alumni that paved the way and have made Delta Chi what it is today. We look forward to hosting our visiting alumni and showing them the improvements we have made as a chapter in the past year.
